Ask and It Is Given – Inspired Action

Most recently, I was listening to Esther Hicks, and one of her best-known books is called Ask and It Is Given. Now, I’ve heard the phrase “inspired action” many times, and probably for many years. But the true meaning and importance of “inspired action” didn’t hit me until now.

Bees and a Hummingbird…a Natural Eco-System

On my walk the other morning, I stopped at these gorgeous purple plants and saw bees swarming through them, plus one beautiful hummingbird. I thought, what a beautiful and natural eco-system. Both species are enjoying nature’s delight, and using them for different purposes.

And, everyone is getting along harmoniously.

Then, my thoughts went to Time…how can I harmoniously enjoy nature’s bounty of time, even though I have several different projects (species) of work to do?

No wireless at Starbucks, are you kidding?

Have you ever chosen to “sequester” yourself so you could only focus on one project? That is exactly what I did this last weekend and for the most part, it worked. I say “for the most part” because I didn’t get as much completed as I wanted, but it did “friendly force” me to stay with my project: writing.

I find that “sequestering” myself needs to happen in another city, because it’s too easy to do low priority tasks, like wash the dishes, make the bed and have everything in my home really neat and organized. Really? That only becomes important to me when I’m working on a high priority project…and writing is definitely my high priority for March.
