October 14, 2018
What is an “Expert Celebrity” brand and why is it important to build one?
Expert means your unique expertise, knowledge, experiences, & education – the “meat” of your business.
Celebrity means influence – your ability to lead and influence people, because they trust you & your input as an expert.
An “Expert Celebrity” brand drives sales, book deals, sponsorship opportunities, media, partnerships, & a lot more!
Today, I am going to address the 3 Foundational Building Blocks every Expert Celebrity Brand must have.
But first, I want to share a few brands I’m a huge fan of!

Ask and It Is Given – Inspired Action
September 17, 2018
Most recently, I was listening to Esther Hicks, and one of her best-known books is called Ask and It Is Given. Now, I’ve heard the phrase “inspired action” many times, and probably for many years. But the true meaning and importance of “inspired action” didn’t hit me until now.
That’s what I love about repetition – when you read the same book again and again, you pick up different things each times based on where you are in your life, how you see the world, your growth since you last read it, and so many other factors. Read More
What is a brand influencer?
September 9, 2018
It’s confusing to a lot of people, because the word ‘influencer’ is being bantered around a lot as a catchphrase these days!
It is important to understand the distinction between the types of influencers so that you can best harness your power and influence, and stay on top of what’s going on in the world of marketing and branding so you can decide what kind of brand influencer you want to be, and which brands and brand influencers you might want to follow or align yourself with.

Who Needs a Brand? Everyone, including Cities
April 17, 2017
I love everything about Branding. People have often asked me why I am such a “Branding Geek” and all I can say is that every business, product and even city has a Brand. For those that aren’t clear on their Brand, it goes into what I refer as the “Brand Pit.” It goes into a deep well with other brands, never really telling their story clearly, focused on who they are or sharing why they are different than others doing what they do.
Looking even further, I find psychology, why people do what they do…intrigues me to no end. It is no wonder that I have two advanced degrees in Psychology…one is clinical psychology and the other is spiritual psychology. Read More
I had the pleasure of re-connecting with Jack Canfield again and it made me think…
August 11, 2015
Have you ever wondered what makes you stop …
or pulls you away from your goals? In other words, what takes you “out of the game” when it comes to your life and business goals?

Jack Canfield and I
What takes you out when you’re ready to write your book and nothing happens … or you start to write it and then you stop … or you give up entirely on getting your book out into the world?
I believe that our self-esteem is critical when it comes to everyday decisions, our perspective on life and business issues … and what prevents us from being the brilliant light that we are.
I remember when Jack Canfield (before he became famous with the Chicken Soup series) was actively engaged in helping others increase their self-esteem. And, here he is again over 25 years later, with his ten year anniversary updated book, The Success Principles.
I, too, am very interested in the topic of self-esteem, because I have seen how it plays a vital role in my life and in my clients’ lives. Over 25 years ago, I brainstormed with a dear friend once a week at breakfast about how we could build our children’s self esteem. Read More
