Three Successful Ways to Introduce Yourself Online and Offline
April 22, 2021
Do you know that how you introduce yourself online as well as offline can actually attract new clients…or the reverse, distract from your expertise and who you are?
Most recently I was on a live zoom call and a friend was sitting listening to people introduce themselves. After the call she said, “Ruth, you really need to help many of these entrepreneurs introduce themselves. I didn’t really know what they did after they said who they were and when they spoke during the call, I couldn’t follow.”
If that isn’t a sign of “Synchronicity” I don’t know what is!
I’ve often shared with my clients that simply introducing yourself in person or online can easily connect with others who want to work with you.
Think about it for a moment…how many people on recent zoom calls or whom you met in person could have been your clients today? Read More
Limiting Beliefs and the Pieces of Generation Why Not?
November 13, 2018
Last weekend, I was interviewed by entrepreneur Troy Hoffman for his podcast, The Daily Question. We spoke all about my latest book, Generation Why Not®? 7 Principles to Peak Performers, Driven by Attitude, Not Age, and about how limiting beliefs can hold entrepreneurs back!
I’m so excited about this book! I’ve been interviewing so many fantastic, purpose-driven entrepreneurs who have figured out how to release themselves from the limiting beliefs that were holding them back. I got to share some of the key traits of people who are a part of Generation Why Not®?
Does this sound like you…or someone you want to be?
- Open to possibility
- Believe anything is possible
- Know you are a co-creator with the universe
- Universal Laws are unbending
- Universal Laws are embraced, not resisted
- Intentions are based on abundance, not lack or fear
- Commitment to what they want and desire is greater than their commitment to fear
- They listen to the wisdom of their intuition
- Committed to the journey as much as they are to the outcome
- They allow for the universe to bring them results by being unattached to the specific outcome

Ask and It Is Given – Inspired Action
September 17, 2018
Most recently, I was listening to Esther Hicks, and one of her best-known books is called Ask and It Is Given. Now, I’ve heard the phrase “inspired action” many times, and probably for many years. But the true meaning and importance of “inspired action” didn’t hit me until now.
That’s what I love about repetition – when you read the same book again and again, you pick up different things each times based on where you are in your life, how you see the world, your growth since you last read it, and so many other factors. Read More
What is a brand influencer?
September 9, 2018
It’s confusing to a lot of people, because the word ‘influencer’ is being bantered around a lot as a catchphrase these days!
It is important to understand the distinction between the types of influencers so that you can best harness your power and influence, and stay on top of what’s going on in the world of marketing and branding so you can decide what kind of brand influencer you want to be, and which brands and brand influencers you might want to follow or align yourself with.
Every influencer has a responsibility to be authentic, be in integrity, and lead with relevancy. But what kind of influencer are you?
While there are a lot of different types of brand influencers, I want to share three I find most interesting: Read More
Are you “giving up” or “surrendering” to your business?
October 17, 2017
What is the difference between “giving up” and “surrendering” to new possibilities for your business?
I had the most interesting conversation with a friend the other day. He was talking about “surrendering” to what happens in life and how that is so different than giving up.
Immediately, I thought of entrepreneurs who have given up on reaching their dreams, creating financial success, or of becoming an influencer in social media.
And, I found this topic to be of such interest to me, that I ended up writing about it in the chapter of my book titled “Intentions.” Let’s just say that is a working title for now.
So, here are my insights… Read More
